Mikkeller – Hazy Session IPA

Opaque, hazy straw yellow with a white foamy head. Zesty citrus on the nose. Juicy mouth feel. Pithy citrus flavours in the mouth with a dusty oaty finish. I’ve had a few beers from Mikkeller that I haven’t enjoyed but this is a really pleasant drink. Totally Subjective Rating 4/5

Thirst Class – Don’t Panic

Golden with a white head on pour. Fresh tropical notes on the nose. Citrus, pineapple in the mouth. A grassy, bitter finish 3 5 %. This is a lovely session beer, very refreshing and tasty. Totally Subjective Rating:4/5

Brewdog – Cybernaut

Straw yellow, clear with a pale head. Citrus notes on the nose. Gently spicy citrus flavours in the mouth. 4.5 % pleasant enough, but I prefer Dead Pony Club as for a session ale. Totally Subjective Rating: 3.5/5

Alphabet Brewing Company – Charlie don’t surf

Very clear. Light gold. Passion fruit nose, tending to fudginess/ butteryness. Maybe too much diacetyl? Clean fruity in the mouth. Surprisingly heavy mouth feel. Refreshing fruity and bitter finish. 4% Totally Subjective Rating 4 / 5

Flavourly – Endless River

In one of those cans where the entire lid comes off so drunk from the can. Floral on the nose. Flowers and citrus with a grassy, yeasty finish. Pleasant enough. Session IPA 3.8% Totally Subjective Rating: 3.5 / 5
