Clear and golden with next to no head, just a small ring of bubbles clinging to the side of the glass. Fresh, almost sea salt on the nose. Big zingy and tart gooseberries in the mouth with a bitter lemon and fruity finish. 4.7%. I think the vanilla might have got a bit lost, but possibly it was there stopping the sourness turning my face inside out.
Picked this can up at our local supermarket. A Gooseberry and Vanilla Double Dry hopped sour seemed a brave choice but it was so easy to drink.
